This page is here for the participants going to Pocono via Merse Mobile and for any one interested in going or seeing what the goings on are.
Depending on how many are going will determine the final cost of the event. As of now it cost 50 bucks a person to get in, it's a hundred for the RV and will be split between everyone. I only see a ten dollar charge for that. This will include your entrance fee including all events from qualifying to race day. Your seat is on top of the Merse Mobile. No extra charge for that. I will be handling all the food and beverages non alcoholic of course. There will be a beer run the day we leave on Thursday. The plan is to leave as early Thursday afternoon as possible. It all depends of course on Todd. The man just doesn't like to get his sleepy ass going even for a race. For the most part the people who were at the Martinsville event were the ones asked this time. I have asked a few others and anyone interested on going please contact me. I won't exclude anyone if they want to come. This is about Ward fans getting together, not a clique. The incidentals add up of course but I carry some of it myself. With as many people coming as planned there will be tanks to empty and fill along the way and that is not for free. I'm figuring at least two empties and one fill up. Cost for that 75 bucks. Food I will have no idea about till I buy everything. I can estimate it at about 50 a person and that's a high estimate.
That also will include things like water, soda, GATORADE, and all the snacks and meals. There will be a conversion van coming along that should sleep some, with that and the RV there should not be need for a gigantic tent. Couple's get the RV and conversion van single guys you know where you'll be. I will be printing T Shirts for this event so I need your size. The cost will most likely be about ten bucks. We will be staying over Sunday night, the only way I can see leaving Sunday if maybe some can head back in the Van. I really don't want to see that!!! Adding up the cost in my head depending on how many we can hide in the RV is roughly 135.00 If you can beat that for 4 days of craziness and every event at a track plus your stay food, AC, shitter, water, soda on and on let me know? Forgot to mention that doesn't include BEEEEEEEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your on your own there. Remember you don't have to bring anything with ya'. The Beer run will happen Thursday afternoon. These costs can be cut by hiding a few people on the way in. Also I'm totally guessing on the incidentals. This is a high estimate as to not shock anyone upon getting here with my hand out saying give me more.
Now when I said you don't have to bring anything I meant Beerwise. I'm speaking from experience but I bring a case a day and it usually works out. No not really, I bring a case a day and then another for good measure. What you need to bring.
Toiletries very important!
A Towel We have a lot so one is all you need.
A Pillow Maybe two if you like two pillows.
Sheets Don't worry we got plenty.
Smokes No runs to K Mart, once your in, your in, at Pocono.
Beer Lots and Lots, or whatever you plan on getting drunk with.
Lighter Merse, bum me a light, NOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Clothes Normally I'd say bring some cold weather clothes but it'll be pretty hot, a jacket or sweatshirt should do it..
